Dear LDCOC Member:

We need leaders who can help guide and direct this committee in fulfilling its mission.

So, if you have commitment, energy, and time to help lead us in increasing Latino political influence, then please come and run for the Board or nominate someone who you feel can do the job.

Our Committee will be electing officers on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at The Comfort Inn, 10 Hatfield Lane, Goshen, NY (downstairs conference room) at 7:30 p.m.

Members in good standing may seek one of the offices – Chair, Co-Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary or Treasurer. Attached are the descriptions for each position.

As per the By-Laws, Executive Officers shall be elected for a two-year term and shall be deemed "officers elect" until assuming full responsibilities October 1st. Members of LDCOC wishing to becoming candidates for office must file a Letter of Intention with the Nominating Committee thirty (30) days prior to the Annual Meeting. The Nominating Committee shall present a list of recommended nominees based upon those Letters of Intention. The Nominating Committee shall also seek nominees for candidacy in those offices for which no members have submitted a Letter of Intention. Nominations for each office shall not be accepted from the floor.
